EXHIBITION Return from Exile: Contemporary Southeast Native American Indian Art

This exhibition of Native American art represents the vibrant contemporary expressions by artists from tribal nations and historical roots in Georgia. This references the so-called Five Civilized Tribes, the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek) and the Seminole.  A variety of media will be included in the show from sculpture to painting, printmaking to jewelry. This exhibit is co-curated by UGA Professor and Director of the Institute of Native American Studies at UGA, Jace Weaver, Mr. Tony Tiger and B.C. Martin.
